Casa Piva
I have been collaborating with @b.e_architecture, a full-service design firm based in Melbourne, Australia. Their projects are sophisticated, timeless and grounded in context and user experience. One of their remarkable works is the residence of Andrew Piva, one of the directors of the firm. The project is called 'Casa Piva' and it reflects Andrew's Italian heritage. The house has a simple and elegant aesthetic of off-white brick and travertine contrasted with walnut timber veneer. The materials are used consistently throughout the house, creating a sense of harmony and simplicity. The house is inspired by the pared-back simplicity of an Italian farmhouse, but with a contemporary twist.
